2002 Clear Coat Buckskin Mare in foal to homozygous black for 2009 foal!!

It is very hard to offer this wonderful mare up for sale at this time. It is not that we won’t be breeding but I have decided to really concentrate on my foundation lines of Jubilee King, Archie O, Red Correll and Californio. Birdie is 98% foundation lines with only 2 outcrossings on one line way back. She is a fabulous mother and will allow you to attend the birth. She is not the Alpha mare nor is she the bottom mare; she is happy to run 2nd or 3rd. She produces the most exquisite foals in mind, body and confirmation. I have photos of her with 3 foals out of different stallions and they are all outstanding. Super sweet, good with her feet, stands tied and great with the vet (she can be palpated without the use of a twitch or anything) UTD on all her shots and deworming program.

A great home is a must!!! Birdie is not broke to ride. She has an old scar injury to her hind leg but the vet look at it and she is super sound and the vet finds no reason why she can’t be broke to ride. She will be started under saddle this fall if not sold and her price WILL go up to reflect her training. She has been stalled and blanketed but has no problem being turned out in the winter with a run as her shelter. Birdie checked in foal to MtnTop Whippoorwill Tanek (Featured Stallion here on My Horse for Sale)for a black, buckskin, smokey black or bay foal due April 2009. She is being sold as a 2 in 1 package or can be offered as a 3 in 1 package with the wonderful golden palomino filly that is by her side. MtnTop Miss SunBird, raf (Coachman’s Cognac x Tan War Bird). This filly is just the best!! Super personality, great balance, she is a one of a kind horse that will make someone very happy.
