Hilton's Give Me Liberty - what a fantastic broodmare! Libby is pictured here with her two week old colt, born 5/1/09. Libby has just been the best mom. She's not overbearing and overprotective like some broodmares that we've had. As long as she could see the colt, or was within earshot of the colt, she was perfectly happy. Her colt has sure been one of those wandering, exploring colts, and for some moms, that would have been a big deal. This colt is tall and stocky which speaks well of Libby's broodmare capabilities. Libby has had a tad bit of saddle work. She's the horse in the pasture that isn't phased by a 4 wheeler, and is calm in most situations. She's offered at the low, low price of $2000 in an effort to reduce the herd size here. Down the road, we will no doubt kick ourselves for selling this mare, but we've just got too many horses at this point. Great bloodlines on this mare!
